In this study, the optimum application conditions for the deterioration control effect of a silane-type that excels in chloride attack control and an aminosilane-type that excels in carbonation control in combination method are investigated. The results showed that the silane-type, which is superior in inhibiting chloride induced deterioration, was applied at first, and then the aminosilane-type was applied, resulting in superior inhibition of both chloride induced deterioration and carbonation. In the curing temperature of 10-35℃, it is found that there was no difference in the inhibiting effect of temperature on chloride induced deterioration and carbonation, suggesting that the influence of the amount and methods of application to prevent the carbonation and chloride induced deterioration is more predominant.
